A POPULAR BBC sitcom is back for a second series after it claimed multiple BAFTAS for its first season.
The comedy series saw multiple awards for their on, and off-screen performances, and production will re-start for season two in 2025.
Filmed and set in Glasgow, Dinosaur will return to screens for a new season, with the BBC commissioning a second series, with the first seeing Ashley Storrie, and Matilda Curtis taking home awards.

The series won Best Writer Film/Television, awarded to Ashley Storrie and Matilda Curtis, whilst Ms Storrie took home another accolade for Favourite Scot on Screen.
Dinosaur follows the story of Nina (Ashley Storrie) an autistic woman in her 30s and her sister Evie, who has rushed into an engagement after six weeks.
The story follows the lives of each of the sisters, and their relationship with each other as various events unfold.
The series is about sisterhood, love, friendship, and being yourself, and took to the hearts of viewers with its TV debut.
With season two in the works, Dinosaur is set to return with a star-studded cast in its pursuit of success.
Ashley will be joined by Kat Ronney (Evie), David Carlyle from It’s a Sin as her brother Bo, Greg Hemphill who famously played Victor from Still Game, as dad Ade, Sally Howitt from River City as mum Diane, Lorn Macdonald from Bridgerton as Lee, Danny Ashok from Roadkill as Evie’s fiancée Ranesh, and Sanjeev Kohli from Still Game as his father Sachin.

“Who knows, there might be actual dinosaurs this time round…”
Fellow BAFTA winner Matilda Curtis said: “I’m so grateful for the chance to get back into Nina’s world again for Series two.
