Citizen science, with projects such as CurieuzeNeuzen, the Grote Vogeltelweekend and MaaiMeiNiet, is on the rise. In our country, citizens have participated in such projects an estimated one million times. This is evident from a report by the Flemish Knowledge Centre Citizen Science (Scivil) on Thursday, which is mapping citizen science for the first time.
