US Secretary of State Antony Blinken on Sunday (local time) endorsed Venezuelan opposition presidential candidate Edmundo Gonzalez Urrutia, who fled to Spain. Authoritarian President Nicolas Maduro has been mounting pressure on the opposition leader since the controversial presidential election in late July.
