BEREA, Ohio (WKBN) – Cleveland Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski announced on Monday that veteran Jameis Winston will start at quarterback coming out of the bye week.
Stefanski told reporters that Winston will be the team’s starter moving forward through the final eight games of the season.
Winston has appeared in 7 games for the Browns this season with two starts. He has piled up 652 passing yards with 2 touchdowns and 3 interceptions.
Dorian Thompson-Robinson and Bailey Zappe are the other two quarterbacks on Cleveland’s roster.
The Browns will visit the New Orleans Saints on Sunday at 1 p.m. on FOX Youngstown.
