CLEVELAND, Ohio (WKBN) – Among a few moves ahead of Sunday, the Cleveland Browns have elevated former Super Bowl champion wide receiver Kadarius Toney to the active roster.
Other moves included signing defensive tackle Sam Kamara and defensive end Elerson Smith to the active roster along with ruling tackle Jedrick Wills Jr. out for Sunday’s contest against the New Orleans Saints.
Toney has appeared in 32 career NFL games, piling up 82 receptions for 760 yards and three touchdowns.
Toney has also rushed for 119 yards and a score and likewise recorded the longest punt return in Super Bowl history with a 65-yard return on Feb. 12, 2023.
He was originally selected by the New York Giants in the first round of the 2021 NFL draft out of the University of Florida.
