BEREA, Ohio (WKBN) — The Cleveland Browns are signing veteran tackle Geron Christian off the practice squad of the Los Angeles Rams.
His agency, Elite Loyalty Sports, made the announcement on Tuesday morning.
Christian, who played in 10 games with the Browns last season, provides offensive line depth for Cleveland.
Dawand Jones is out for the season with a fractured ankle and Jedrick Wills Jr. is battling a knee injury.
Christian signed with the Tennessee Titans during the offseason, but was released at the end of August. He later signed with the Los Angeles Rams and appeared in one game this season.
The veteran lineman is a former third-round draft pick of the Washington Commanders in the 2018 NFL Draft.
During his NFL career, he has played for the Commanders, Texans, Chiefs, Dolphins, Browns and Rams.
The Browns host the Steelers on Thursday at 8:15 p.m. The game will be televised exclusively on Amazon Prime Video.
