Butler and Crenshaw counties under a wind advisory until early Friday

The National Weather Service issued a wind advisory at 3:17 a.m. on Thursday valid from noon until Friday midnight for Butler and Crenshaw counties.

The weather service adds to anticipate, “North winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 40 mph expected.”

“Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result,” comments the weather service. “Use extra caution when driving, especially if operating a high profile vehicle. Secure outdoor objects.”
