Cassandra Ventura, known best as Cassie, was in a relationship with the rapper for ten years before ending things for good in 2018. They first met when Cassie was just 19 and Diddy was 37 and had signed to his Bad Boy Records. Soon after, as Ventura alleges, he pushed a relationship with her and took complete control over his life.

Combs on the other hand, as reported by the New York Times, denied these allegations through a statement via his lawyer and claimed Ventura has been demanding $30 million from him as blackmail. However, a video of the alleged abuse soon made its made to the internet, with Diddy apologizing for it later on (via CNN).
These allegations and lawsuit caused a storm of controversy, and soon Diddy was accused of s*xual assault by a former producer and videographer, Rodney Jones (via People). Despite being traumatized and hurt, Cassie Ventura took back the lawsuit just a day after filing. The duo apparently decided to resolve the matter amicably on undisclosed terms (via People).
Sean Diddy Combs’ Dating History is Full of Drama and Disaster
Over the years, several allegations and a string of s*xual assault allegations have made their way to the public against Sean Diddy Combs. The music mogul has been accused of some particularly horrendous and explosive things (via LA Times), and most recently, Dainty Kane singer Dawn Richard joined in to make some shocking revelations and filed a lawsuit against the rapper (via NY Times).
As shocking as these revelations are, Diddy’s dating history has been a disaster in itself. Following his early break in the music industry, the rapper was first linked with fashion designer Misa Hylton, with whom he shares one son, Justin. But one of his longest and most cordial relationships was with the late Kim Porter, with whom Diddy has 3 kids, as well as raised Porter’s son from her early relationship (see Today).
