CELTIC could be dealing with another defensive injury worry once domestic action resumes after the international break.
Centre-back Cameron Carter-Vickers is hoping to be fit when the Hoops return to league action against Hearts, having been spotted in a moon boot last weekend.
The American was a worry ahead of the derby match against Rangers last Sunday but he was able to play through the pain.
But with Brendan Rodgers keeping his fingers crossed the defender would be available when the Hoops host the Jambos on September 14, he now has another potential problem to contend with.
Regular right-back Alistair Johnston was forced off in the first half of Canada’s game against the USA tonight.
The 25-year-old just 24 minutes of the match before being replaced by Richard Laryea.
