CHAMPION, Ohio (WKBN) – A pair of softball standouts from Champion High School made their college choices official.
A signing ceremony was held at Champion High School on Friday.
Gabby Gradishar officially signed to continue her career at Penn State in the Big Ten, while Addy Warzala is heading to Slippery Rock University.
Gradishar announced her commitment to the Nittany Lions back in October of 2023.
Last season at Champion, she led the Golden Flashes with a batting average of .640, 23 home runs, 51 RBIs, 10 doubles, and 3 triples.
In the circle, Gradishar posted a record of 20-4 with a 1.05 ERA. She struck out 278 batters in 133.2 innings of work.
Warzala hit .500 with 10 home runs with 40 RBIs last Spring. She also piled up 17 doubles and 3 triples for the Golden Flashes.
