A number of Premier League clubs reportedly hold an interest in negotiating a deal for a Chelsea attacker during the January transfer window.
A Chelsea attacker is reportedly starting to attract interest from multiple clubs ahead of the January transfer window.
Enzo Maresca has been given the freedom to build a squad full of depth at Stamford Bridge, there being at least two senior players for every position.
Most notably, the Italian has eight attacking players at his disposal that are full internationals, all of whom bring value to the starting lineup.
However, the downside to possessing such a wide array of talent is trying to keep each player happy, something which appears to have proven difficult if recent reports are to be believed.
Christopher Nkunku – without a Premier League start since the opening weekend of the season – is allegedly prepared to push for an exit in January if his game time does not increase.
Manchester United are said to be monitoring the situation of the France international, who earned a start for his country during their recent UEFA Nations League fixtures.
Mudryk attracting growing interest?
As per Football Insider, though, it is Mykhaylo Mudryk who is attracting the most interest at the present time.
The report suggests that multiple clubs are weighing up whether to make an approach for the Ukraine international, realistically on a loan basis.
Crystal Palace had already been linked with such a move, yet Premier League regulations prevent a second player being acquired from Chelsea on a temporary basis courtesy of Trevoh Chalobah already being at Selhurst Park.
Chelsea are allegedly against giving the green light to any kind of deal as they bid to retain competition for places in the final third.
Furthermore, it is unclear what loan fee it would take to change Chelsea’s stance. With Mudryk signing for a fee that could rise to £89m over time and penning an eight-and-a-half-year contract, any club would likely have to commit to a bare minimum of £5m for Chelsea not to lose out from an amortisation standpoint.

How has Maresca used Mudryk this season?
The 23-year-old’s only start in the Premier League came at Wolverhampton Wanderers at the back end of August, indicating where the wideman currently finds himself in the pecking order.
Just 146 minutes have been accumulated in the top flight, yet two goals and four assists have come from five appearances in the Conference League.
With Mudryk seemingly a guaranteed starter in that competition, Chelsea and Maresca will see value in retaining his services, there also being the potential for a recall in the Premier League.
