Chipotle is bringing back one of its fan-favorite items.
The chain has announced its smoked brisket is returning to the menu for the first time in three years.
“We are listening to our guests and bringing this fan-favorite menu innovation out of the vault after three years,” said Chris Brandt, Chief Brand Officer at Chipotle, in a press release. “This premium protein is sure to delight guests looking to taste the difference of brisket prepared the Chipotle way.”
Chipotle’s smoked brisket is made with brisket seared on the plancha, and seasoned with spices including smoked serrano chili pepper and chipotle chili pepper. Next, the beef is hand-chopped and finished in a savory brisket sauce made with smoky chili peppers.
Chipotle plans to open more restaurants
Chipotle plans to open between 285 to 315 new locations by the end of 2024. More than 80% of the planned new stores will feature Chipotlanes—Chipotle’s dedicated drive-thru lanes for digital pick-up orders, reports Eat This, Not That.
