Savarius Evans and Daniel Taylor Jr. each had three touchdowns to lead Decatur Heritage in Thursday’s 68-0 win over Tharptown in a Class 2A, Region 8 matchup.
Evans rushed for three touchdowns. Two of Taylor’s scores were runs and another was a return of a free kick after a safety. Levi McGee also rushed for a touchdown. Harrison Hardy returned the opening kickoff for a touchdown. Ezra Burney kicked a field goal.
