Following on similar notes (but being completely different) is Colin Farrell’s The Penguin. Following the death of Carmine Falcone in The Batman, the show follows Oswald “Oz” Cobblepot’s rise to power in the underworld of Gotham.
With talks of inspiration and similar storylines, there have been talks that Oswald Cobb is allegedly a more brutal (and a little hideous) Tony Soprano. The fandoms have been at war ever since the rumors and theories came out.

Cristin Milioti, who plays the role of Sofia Falcone in The Penguin had a role in The Sopranos as well! You get to see how Sofia’s driven mad. And how the world can drive someone mad, and how pain can drive people to do terrible things. I think that’s why I’ve always loved Batman.
She further continued,
I’ve always felt that the villains of the world, and Batman himself, they’re attempting to make sense of these horrible things that have happened to them. And it comes out in these larger-than-life ways.
Her love and obsession for Sofia Falcon came to fruition when The Penguin received critical acclaim from critics and audiences alike. The Colin Farrell show has reached newer heights of success and people are in love with it.
