Farmington police have arrested a Connecticut man on several charges, including sexual assault of an animal, police said.
Jose Ramos-Cordero, 65, of New Britain, is charged with sexual assault of an animal – sexual contact, third-degree burglary and disorderly conduct, according to police.
The alleged incident occurred on Monday at Brookdale Gables, a senior living facility, according to the Farmington Police Department.
The department said officers were shown a video of a maintenance worker at Brookdale Gables. According to police, the worker allegedly was inside of a tenant’s apartment while the residents were away.
The video allegedly showed Ramos-Cordero on the floor “attempting to engage with the tenant’s dog in a sexual manner,” according to police.
Ramos-Cordero is scheduled to appear in Hartford Superior Court on Sept. 17.
