A new craft kitchen and simulator bar has announced plans to open this fall in a converted Farmington hotel.
Stadium XV is set to open in UpHouse, the apartment development at 15 Farm Springs Road inside the former Marriott hotel, according to Amanda Sirica, spokesperson for Stadium XV.
“Stadium XV is excited to open its doors this fall as greater Hartford’s premiere craft kitchen and simulator bar experience,” said Amanda Sirica, Stadium XV spokesperson. “Visitors can expect to enjoy a quality craft kitchen menu, engaging bar atmosphere, and two state-of-the-art simulators with over a dozen classic sports, including baseball, soccer, football, golf and more. The dynamic Stadium XV team can’t wait to show you what they have been working on all summer.”
Owned by restauranteur Sona Ramchandani, the Stadium XV concept is built on a quality craft kitchen, engaging bar atmosphere, and hands-on sports entertainment, according to Sirica. Ramchandani also owns the popular Indian cuisine restaurant Sherkaan in New Haven and owned the former Tap Rock in Unionville that closed in 2022.
The bar will be managed by Khalid Williams of The Doro Group and At the Corner in Litchfield, according to Sirica. At the kitchen’s helm is Executive Chef Christopher Austin of Glastonbury’s Birch Hill Tavern, Vermont’s The Hermitage Club, and Mystic’s Go Fish. Austin has curated a playful menu of popular sports fare like burgers, tacos and appetizers, Sirica said. The menu has not yet been finalized.
“The first of its kind establishment in greater Hartford, Stadium XV offers build-your-own craft burgers and street tacos, extensive shareable appetizers, crazy shakes worthy of Instagram, and classic cocktails and bar flights,” Sirica said.
The restaurant will be open to the general public, with a main entrance from the apartment complex parking lot, as well as an entrance from the complex’s lobby, Sirica said.
