COPS are probing the mystery death of a drill rapper found unconscious in a taxi – just days before his first headline show.
Mark Murray, 25, was rushed to hospital after the worried driver saw him fall unconscious in East Kilbride a week past Saturday.

The lad from Castlemilk, Glasgow – who performed on stage in a Rangers top under the name M2 – spent four days in intensive care before dying last Wednesday, September 11 in hospital.
Dozens of tributes have been paid to the talented singer who was set to headline the Poetry Club at SWG3 next month – and recently spoke about his rapping had helped change his life around.
Police are treating his death as ‘unexplained’ and hope further tests will shed light on his sudden passing.
Just days before he died, Mark wrote on Instagram: “First headline show announced at SWG3 poetry club 16th of October!
“Hope to see everyone of you there. Crazy to think this is all in less than a years work.”
In a YouTube video, Mark took a drill vlogger around Castlemilk to show him where he grew up and where some of his videos were filmed.
He said: “I’m new to the game, eight months in.
“I wrote my first rap whan I was about six or seven. Then I dropped my first tune and it went wild.
“I’ve had bad things happen and I’ve done bad things but now I’ve changed my life and now I’m able to do stuff like this.
“My goal in life is to be happy – my family are secure and safe.
“Don’t come off course and keep pushing.”
A GoFundMe has now been set up for Mark and football cards are available in local shops in Castlemilk to give donations to his family.
Fans of M2 were quick to reveal their pain at his sudden death.
DJ Naeem said: “RIP bro. I only got to know you and your music when we played together at the Scottish rap event at The Garage earlier this year.
“Shocked to hear the news, you had an amazing talent gone way too soon.”
Another said: “Canny believe the news man. Rest in peace brother a real talent to the Scottish scene.”
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We were made aware of a 25-year-old man having taken unwell in Mallard Crescent, East Kilbride around 2.40pm on Saturday, 7 September, 2024.
“Emergency services attended and he was taken to Hairmyres Hospital for treatment, where he died on Wednesday, 11 September, 2024.
