Country star deletes Taylor Swift, Kanye West comment, apologizes to fans

Zach Bryan took to Instagram on Thursday to apologize for a social media post in which he appears to state that Kanye West is better than Taylor Swift..

“For the record guys I wasn’t coming for Taylor the other night,” the country singer posted. “I was drunkenly comparing two records, and it came out wrong.”

The “Heading South” singer posted about Swift and West: “Eagles > chiefs,” followed by, “Kanye > Taylor,” adding, “Who’s with me?”

As you know, Swift’s boyfriend Travis Kelce plays for the Kansas City Chiefs.

The comment was later deleted.

“Twitter gets me in trouble too much and I’d say it’s best I stay off it,” he said. “I’m sorry to any Taylor fans I pissed off or let down. Love you guys and I’m trying my best!”

He added that he hoped to “one day explain” his comments to Swift.

“I respect her so much as a musician that the last thing I want is people thinking I don’t appreciate and love what she has done for music.”

Bryan also warned fans about the pitfalls of social media.

“Don’t drink and tweet. Don’t drink and tweet!!”
