A man was killed in a motorcycle crash in Groton on Friday.
Emergency crews around 11:30 p.m. responded to Poquonnock Road on a report of the crash and found a 55-year-old man suffering from serious injuries, according to the City of Groton Police Department.
Police said the motorcycle was the only vehicle involved in the crash. The driver, identified as Raymond Nix of Groton, was taken to Lawrence + Memorial Hospital in New London where he was pronounced dead, according to police.
The crash remains under investigation.
