And yet, while most wouldn’t think twice before stanning Powell for the same, the Twisters actress tends to differ otherwise. Surprisingly enough, even after working with the Hollywood heartthrob in their exclusive box-office hit that is being rated hot by fans, Edgar-Jones puts someone else before her co-star when it comes to the Sexiest Man Alive title: Powell’s dog, Brisket!

Glen Powell is one of the hottest people to have ever made their debut in the entertainment industry, and his constant peak performances and praises from co-stars and peers are further elevating his ranks in the eyes of fans. If anything, all of this is only cementing his position in Hollywood as the Sexiest Man Alive without a second thought.
But while the world goes around rallying about Powell’s charisma, it seems like his very own Twisters co-star, Daisy Edgar-Jones, has conflicting opinions on this matter. To say the least, the actress recently made it evident during the currently ongoing Toronto International Film Festival 2024 that she considers Powell’s dog sexier than the actor himself.
When asked about who she would vote for in People’s Sexiest Man Alive in 2024, the 26-year-old actress jokingly answered (via @newromantics02 on X):
I’d say Brisket, Glen Powell’s dog. I know he’s technically not human, but he’s the sexiest thing I’ve ever seen. He’s so gorgeous. But that’s a really good question, I’ll have to think on it. [Laughs]
While her teasing response to this question with the additional “I’ll think about it” comment was one thing, what really had fans missing this Twisters family even further was the fact that she didn’t even take a minute to let know that Powell’s name won’t be her answer. Well, we guess the Anyone but You star only needs to try harder to please Edgar-Jones!
Meanwhile, Glen Powell is on the Sexiest Summer Action Star List
The voting for People’s Sexiest Man Alive has begun, and Powell, unsurprisingly, already has his name on the list. Among others, the actor has been nominated for the Sexiest Summer Action Star category, though the competition is hot as actors like Ryan Gosling, Ryan Reynolds, and Hugh Jackman stand as his rivals.
All four of these action stars have perfectly depicted their exceptional hotness while delivering their respective projects – The Fall Guy (Gosling), Deadpool & Wolverine (Reynolds and Jackman), and Twisters (Powell) – so fans wouldn’t exactly be having the easiest time while voting even without having the old terrier poodle mix in the competition.
Nonetheless, it would be interesting to see who comes out victorious when the results are announced on November 12, 2024.
