Daisy Ridley Names Her Top 5 Star Wars Movies of All Time and the Fans Accuse the Bias is Strong With This One

Hold on to your lightsabers, for Daisy Ridley, everyone’s favorite Rey of sunshine, has just unveiled the list of her top 5 Star Wars films. The list, which might as well be a throwback to her envious resume, featured a certain amount of self-love and true admiration for the franchise.

Placing her own Star Wars debut film, The Force Awakens, in number one position, Daisy Ridley further included some classic favorites like The Empire Strikes Back and Revenge of the Sith. However, despite the actress’ mostly unbiased choice, fans appear to be fixated on her prejudice.

Daisy Ridley Dropped Her Ultimate Star Wars List

In a revelation that has the Force buzzing with gossip, Daisy Ridley has dropped her list of top five Star Wars movies. After making her way into the franchise as Rey in the Star Wars sequel trilogy: The Force Awakens, The Last Jedi, and The Rise of Skywalker, Ridley sent the Star Wars fandom into a frenzy with her recent revelation.

Brought to fans’ notice by @canalplus, and later corroborated by @CultureCrave, Daisy Ridley’s list surprisingly featured her own debut film, The Force Awakens, in the number one position. Thereafter, the actress hailed The Empire Strikes Back, Rogue One, Revenge of the Sith, and Attack of the Clones respectively.

Of course, the Star Wars film that gave Daisy Ridley her big break tops her list, but there’s no denying that the film also revived the franchise from the brink of downfall. Thereafter, her appreciation for the classic that everyone adores and no one dares to criticize—The Empire Strikes Back seemingly highlighted her love for a good father-son drama, like most people.

Meanwhile, considering Rogue One’s gritty war drama, it seems that Daisy Ridley apparently has a thing for the underdogs and a bit of dark realism. As for Revenge of the Sith’s melodrama and Attack of the Clones’ notoriously awkward romantic subplot seems to have created a soft spot in Ridley’s heart.

Fans Blast Daisy Ridley’s List as an Ode to Narcissism

Naturally, after Daisy Ridley’s list hit social media, it sparked a delightful ruckus in the Star Wars fandom. While some fans are applauding the actress’ confidence and self-belief, others are raising an eyebrow at her seemingly biased decision to place The Force Awakens as her top pick.

Shockingly, fans have dubbed this list as a display of the galaxy’s biggest ego trip. Because fans believe that there’s no way Daisy Ridley could be genuinely fond of the movie where she made her dazzling entrance. Netizens are thus calling it a classic case of “Rey-bias,” because they believe a young actress who has become a central figure in the franchise can never be totally enamored with the film that made her famous.

Fans argue that Daisy Ridley’s choice is perhaps biased due to her personal connection to the film. As the lead actress, it’s understandable that she holds a special place in her heart, but many believe that this should not overshadow the objective quality of the film. Ultimately, the debate over Ridley’s top 5 list once again highlighted the passionate and often divisive nature of the Star Wars fandom.
