“I couldn’t sit up or walk,” says Danira Boukhriss (34). “The pain afterwards was even worse than the birth itself.” The new mother suffered a lot from her pelvis after her pregnancy, a problem that is common. But according to gynaecologist Gilbert Donders, Danira had a fairly rare cause: “I think I’ve seen this maybe four or five times in my career.”
