These characters play a significant role in the game’s storyline, especially concerning the origin of the zombie outbreak. Both characters are highly volatile, and at some point, in the game, players will have to face and defeat them.
Isabela, in particular, is one of the most restless and difficult bosses to take down with melee weapons. This means that players won’t be able to easily kill her with direct attacks and will need to use ranged weapons to ensure survival.
One of the key aspects of this boss fight is that Isabela rides a motorcycle, making it very challenging to land a hit unless you’re using a ranged weapon. This bike will also do a ton of damage.

Upon finding her, players will inevitably have to fight and defeat her for the story to progress. Therefore, players should equip themselves with plenty of ranged weapons before heading to this location to make the fight easier.
The boss fight with Isabela primarily involves her riding a large, swift motorcycle that she’ll use to run over the player. This encounter takes place in North Plaza, in an area under construction.
To evade the motorcycle’s impact, players should ascend to the highest point of the construction site’s fountain. From this elevated position, you can move in circles, avoiding Isabela’s direct attacks while taking advantage of the height to shoot her.
Once in position, the player will have to use the ranged weapons to land as many accurate shots as possible. While this method may be slow and tedious, it’s the most effective way to avoid taking damage and ensure you survive the encounter.
If players fail to take the high ground, Isabela will use ramps to continue running over the player, eventually dealing enough damage to kill them. The best way to avoid damage is on high ground.
A Slow but Safe Strategy
From the elevated position on top of the fountain, players have the advantage of cover from all angles, as Isabela circles around trying to find an opening.
She will constantly ride her motorcycle around the fountain, searching for a clear shot. If players take cover correctly and avoid her bullets, they’ll eventually wear her down and defeat her. This is a slow way to ensure that the player will defeat her.
Before facing Isabela, it’s a beneficial idea to complete a side mission where you can obtain hunting rifles from three enemies. These rifles are ideal for dealing with this boss because they deal a lot of damage and offer excellent accuracy when hitting a target from a distance.
Another option is to use throwable weapons, but this method is less reliable due to the distance between the player and Isabela.
Lastly, there’s also the option of going for a more direct approach, where players will need to dodge Isabela’s motorcycle attacks by rolling and then hitting her with a high-damage melee weapon like the ancient sword or battleaxe.
However, the major downside to this method is that Isabela will eventually shoot at the player, and if they fail to dodge the bullets, they’ll take a lot of damage and possibly die. For this reason, if you choose the direct approach, be cautious of the damage you take and try to defeat her as quickly as possible.
