MEADVILLE, Pa. (WKBN) – Greenville came up with a key stop on a Cambridge Springs two-point conversion to secure a 27-26 victory in the District 10 1A semifinals on Saturday night in Meadville.
After scoring with three minutes to play, the Blue Devils went for two and the lead but were stuffed by the Trojans to maintain a one-point lead.
Trailing 20-13 in the third quarter, the Trojans put together two scoring drives to take a seven-point advantage.
Greenville wide receiver Justin Schell hauled in three touchdown catches on the night.
With the win, the Trojans improve to 10-1 overall and advance to take on Wilmington in the District Championship Game on Nov. 15 or 16 at a site yet to be determined.
