Derrick Henry ran into the Baltimore record book on the Ravens’ first snap of Sunday night’s game against the Buffalo Bills.
Henry went 87 yards for a touchdown with 10:50 left in the first quarter for the longest run from scrimmage in the franchise’s history.
Henry moved another former Alabama ball-carrier out of the Baltimore record book with the run. The record of 82 yards for the longest run in Ravens history had been shared by Jamal Lewis and Le’Ron McClain. Lewis had his 82-yard touchdown run in a 33-13 victory over the Cleveland Browns on Sept. 14, 2003. McClain, a former Tuscaloosa County High School and Crimson Tide standout, had his 82-yard touchdown run in a 33-24 victory over the Dallas Cowboys on Dec. 20, 2008.
Henry recorded the 56th touchdown run of 87 or more yards in a regular-season game in NFL history. Henry and former Tennessee Titans running back Chris Johnson are the only players with three.

Henry had the NFL’s second 99-yard run in the Titans’ 30-9 victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars on Dec. 6, 2018, and a 94-yard touchdown run in a 42-36 victory over the Houston Texans on Oct. 18, 2020.
Among the players with two NFL touchdown runs of at least 87 yards during NFL regular-season play are Shaun Alexander from Alabama and Bo Jackson from McAdory High School and Auburn.
