Rapper Sean “Diddy” Combs has been facing a lot of controversies and backlash as of late, following all the misconduct allegations and civil s*xual assault lawsuits that multiple people and artists hit him with. Besides other accusations of some serious offenses against his name, quite a few of the allegations seem to have stemmed from the music titan’s infamous parties.
However, one of Combs’ close friends recently popped up to shed light on these accusations as a prime witness of some of those parties. This was none other than Marlon Wayans, and according to him, he never personally got to come across any of the supposed debauchery other party-goers have described going down at the record producer’s notorious throwdown.
Marlon Wayans Defends Diddy’s Infamous Parties – Or At Least the Ones He Went To
Marlon Wayans, the actor, comedian, screenwriter, and producer, known best for the critically panned but fan-favorite White Chicks and the Scary Movie film series, has stepped forward with some confessions about Diddy’s high-profile parties. To be more precise, he seems to be defending those parties – or at least the ones he attended, anyway.
During a recent interview with Club Shay Shay, the Little Man star was asked what goes around in these notorious Hollywood parties. To this, Wayans’ honest response was: “I’ve been to plenty of Diddy parties. I left early.” As for “the stuff that they claim to be going over there,” Wayans said: “I swear to you, I’ve never seen it. I’ve never seen it.”
Continuing, the A Haunted House actor then went on to further clarify his comment on never witnessing any of the shady doings that Sean Diddy Combs seems to be alleged of. Wayans unhesitantly claimed:
Those aren’t the type of parties that I go to. I don’t frequent those type of parties and even if I go, like I said, I’ve never seen any of this.
To say the least, even after all the accusations against Combs from previous party-goers of the suspected immorality that apparently went down at his infamous throwdowns, Wayans held tight to his claims until the last minute, continuing to repeat his phrase “I’ve never seen it” while shedding light on this controversial issue as a witness of those parties himself.
Marlon Wayans Claims the Alleged Doings May Have Happened After He Left Those Parties
While claiming he never saw anything was one thing, it wasn’t all. During the same interview, the comedian even humorously noted that when he came across the persistent buzz about what allegedly transpired at these parties, the thing that struck him as the most odd was the timing because he himself never saw any such misdeeds happening.
If anything, he even humored the thought that all of it could have happened after he left, with everyone waiting for him to leave to have their supposed debauchery take place. Wayans quipped:
When I hear about it, ‘When did that happen? At what time did this go down? ‘Cause I was there till 3:30 [AM]. You mean at 3:32, they waiting for me to leave like, ‘Alright, good. Wayans gone. He talk too much.’
On the one hand, while reports suggest that these throwdowns could have been the base place possibly harboring the tapes holding incriminating evidence of celebs who partied at his events, these revelations from the Don’t Be a Menace to South Central While Drinking Your Juice in the Hood star, on the other hand, seem to be canceling them with a striking intensity.
Nonetheless, things still remain to be cooled down for Combs, who was recently arrested in Manhattan, where a federal court has unsealed charges against him for“sex trafficking, racketeering, and transportation to engage in prostitution.”
As per Forbes, the charges claim Diddy reportedly “abused, threatened, & coerced women and others around him to fulfill sexual desires, protect his reputation, and conceal his conduct.” That said, for now, nothing can be said for sure in the music mogul’s favor.
