Everything to know about 90 Day Fiancé’s Brian Muniz’s criminal past

Long before Brain Muniz found love with Ingrid, the 52-year-old had been involved in various criminal activities that he had tried to keep out of the limelight. I sold for five years. I used it too. And at the time, I met my second wife. I drank a case of beer a day, with three grams of cocaine on the table.

Although the star shed some light on his past, he kept a lot of things in the dark. According to reports from InTouch Weekly, it was revealed that he had faced several vehicle-related offenses in the early 90s. The reports stated that Muniz had been charged with operating an uninsured vehicle, going over the speed limit, failing to wear a seat belt, and even driving with a canceled, suspended, or revoked Ilinois registration.

All five counts have since been closed. However, they are still not something the reality star seems to want to shine a light on. After all, he even managed to keep the charges a secret from his partner, Ingrid.

90 Day Fiancé’s Brian Muniz’s biggest lies to Ingrid

In the recent season of Before the 90 Days, the controversial Brian Muniz ruffled a lot of feathers, including that of his Brazilian partner, Ingrid. Although the two had spent over 2 years getting to know each other, the 32-year-old did not know the 52-year-old as well as she thought. While he shared bits and pieces of information with her, he kept leaving out some rather important details. In a clip from ExtraTV, the couple was heading to her hometown of Gurupi when he accidentally let his real age slip.

When Ingrid reveals that her father is 54, her partner exclaims that they are practically the same age. The revelation came as a shock to the young Brazilian. After all, the coach had told her that he was only 45. Apart from that, he had also kept the truth behind how he ended up in a wheelchair from her. However, in a 2021 podcast episode of Overcome Outloud With Charlie Smith, Muniz how his carjacking actually went.

I was parking my car and then there were two men next to me, one stayed and one came. The one who came had a gun in his hand, so I went to get the gun and fight him. But then, I took a shot. I didn’t think a bullet would hit me like that. After that, life in the chair.

Although Muniz gave Ingrid half the story, during the podcast he ended up revealing that his second ex-wife, had set out the hit on him. While the star chose to leave that detail out, he also failed to mention that he had been married 4 different times. With the Brazilian native realizing the amount of lies she was told, it comes as no surprise that their relationship did not last.
