ECB cuts interest rates for second time this year, which could make borrowing cheaper

The European Central Bank (ECB) cut interest rates again on Thursday, for the second time this year. The move was widely expected as inflation in the eurozone is falling. Specifically, the deposit rate at which banks can park money with the ECB is being cut by 25 basis points (0.25 percentage points) to 3.50 percent.
