A FLIGHT heading to Edinburgh declared a mid-air emergency just minutes before landing.
The Scandinavian Airlines (SAS) plane was travelling to the Scottish capital from Stockholm this morning.
The SK2545 flight departed from Sweden at 11.05am, and was due to arrive in Edinburgh at 12.20pm.
But as the aircraft was flying over Dundee, it issued a 7700 squawk code.
Flightradar24 wrote on X: “Inbound to Edinburgh (EDI), SK2545 is squawking 7700, indicating a general emergency.
“Reason currently unknown.”
The aircraft later landed in Scotland at 12.12pm.
The nature of the emergency squawk is unknown.
