Ever since the Elbaf Arc began, the One Piece fandom has been buzzing with speculations around strange moments concerning Luffy, Nami, and the unresolved mysteries within the storyline. As we dive into the heart of Elbaf, certain events from the spoilers of chapter 1127 have left many fans scratching their heads.
Some fans are questioning if Eiichiro Oda has made some critical errors or whether this is part of a more complex plot, possibly involving the trickster god Loki. From Luffy acting out of character to the inexplicable phenomena surrounding Nami, there are more questions than answers.
Glimpses of Chapter 1127 of One Piece
@Simega8 has spoiled some of the panels from the upcoming chapter of One Piece, in which several peculiar details have stirred fans into theorizing that something is definitely wrong. Whether these are mistakes on Eiichiro Oda’s part or are deliberate clues set up for a grand reveal is still up for debate.
First of all, Luffy is not wearing his signature straw hat on the panel. Fans have noted that in some moments, inside the helmet, the hat is simply gone. The confusion has been emphasized further in one particular instance, where Luffy refers to Gear 3 form as “Gear 4”.
In a few scenes, Luffy is seen with different items on his back. At one point, there was nothing there, followed by the sudden appearance of a sword, and later, an axe. The inconsistency has led many to believe that these are not mere drawing mistakes but rather signs that these are all parts of an illusion.
Moreover, the previous chapter of One Piece ended with a panel focusing on Nami, who woke up upon hearing a mysterious voice. And there is still no valid explanation for this phenomenon. According to some fans, it could be the trick of the Prince of Elbaf, Loki, who is playing a mind game on Nami. However, some fans believe it could also be Zeus who called her out.
One Piece Chapter 1127: Eiichiro Oda’s Mistake or Loki’s Trickery?
This mystery presents two major possibilities: Either Eiichiro Oda has made some missteps in his drawing or the trickster Loki is manipulating reality to mess with the Straw Hats. The disappearance of the straw hat along with Luffy mistakenly calling Gear 3 “Gear 4” could be a writing or editing error.
Similarly, the inconsistent appearance of the sword and axe might be the result of a continuity error. However, the mystery of the voice has still not subsided. Although some have dismissed the mystery voice as Zeus waking Nami as he was floating over Nami when she woke up, others argue that the scene was staged in a way that seemed much more than that. Additionally, apart from this scene, there are multiple confusing things happening throughout the chapter.
The most possible explanation for this is that Loki, the infamous trickster of Elbaf, is pulling the strings. Loki is known for his powers like hypnosis, thus, he may be using illusions to confuse the Straw Hats. Until the full chapter 1127 comes out, numerous theories will continue to emerge within the fandom.
Only time will tell whether these oddities are mistakes or part of a larger plot. The multiple consistencies in the upcoming chapter of One Piece will only be addressed when the full version comes out.
