Trump won a second term and it says a lot about our country that a person that didn’t want to accept the 2022 election results, and had numerous court cases is reelected. On Monday and Tuesday of this week, Trump was already saying that there was fraud in Penn., in case he lost. Now there is no mention of any fraud. Really? This again? What is really wrong with the country that they think that this is the best that we can do? He insulted people during his campaign, talked about everything from Arnold Palmer to people eating cats and dogs. No specifics of any campaign issues, just insults and a clown show at Madison Square Garden. Trump’s last four years were a plethora of resignations, indictments and lies.
As the transition unfolds, Trump eyes one of his favorite targets: US intelligence
This time it is even worse that Trump has Elon Musk most likely helping him making policy decisions, all the while Musk is in contact with Putin. It is a severe conflict of interest seeing that Musk has millions of dollars in contracts with the defense department. Musk is responsible for spreading misinformation during this campaign. Musk will not help Trumps’ second term. Not very long ago, this would be unheard of, a president that caters to the Russian leader and an oligarch that is in the White House now and is a friend to Putin.
This country needs to do what Finland just started to do in the elementary school through 12th grade, and that is to teach children at a young age to recognize, lies, misinformation and how to critically think. Our school system is not teaching civics and critical thinking enough; because this election is a result of this.
Trump on Day 1: Begin deportation push, pardon Jan. 6 rioters and make his criminal cases vanish
We are in a very tough situation and this country still hasn’t recovered from the instability of the first Trump term, now we will get another dose of lies, threats, revenge and divisiveness. Many of us were very sad Tuesday and know that this is not good for our country and people that voted for him will see that after these four years.
