PITTSBURGH (WKBN) — An Ellwood City man will be sentenced later next year after pleading guilty to the sexual exploitation of a minor.
Shayne Clapper, 30, pleaded guilty last week to one count of coercion and enticement of a minor, production and attempted production of material depicting the sexual exploitation of a minor and receipt and attempted receipt of material depicting the sexual exploitation of a minor. He will be sentenced March 12, 2025.
According to investigators, Clapper initiated a sexual relationship with a minor he knew that went on for about a month. During that time, he provided a cell phone to the victim and requested nude photos. He also induced the minor to engage in sexually explicit conduct to make a sex video.
Police seized Clapper’s cell phone and found the sexual abuse images.
