In recent years, Elizabeth Olsen has become a household name. While it might be thanks to her role as the MCU’s Scarlet Witch, those are not the only films she has starred in. With 6 Marvel films and an arsenal of every genre known to mankind, the 35-year-old has cemented her platform in Hollywood. However, she believes that there is one thing that she is missing that Cate Blanchett achieved just two years ago in her $29 million epic, Tár.
Despite being hailed as one of the MCU’s most powerful superheroes, Olsen’s thirst for knowledge has left her with one last thing to tick off on her bucket list.
Elizabeth Olsen wants to add another thing to her resume
In a recent interview with Harper’s Bazar, Elizabeth Olsen was asked what was left on her bucket list for her to accomplish. After all, the actress had already become globally renowned as she followed in her sisters, Mary-Kate and Ashley’s footsteps. However, that was not enough for the WandaVision starlet. In fact, she had some rather big plans for herself.
What’s left on my bucket list is learning another language. I watched Tar, and I know just from watching interviews with her that Cate Blanchett had schoolgirl-level German language at her disposal. Then she had to build upon that for the film. Maybe she was being modest about her language skills – I don’t know her – but I found that fluidity between languages really inspiring.
Olsen continued, “As someone who grew up in the States, learning a second language wasn’t really a strong focus, but I would love to figure out how to play a character that could at least flip between multiple languages.”
Although it may take some time to completely perfect learning a new language, evidently the actress is up for the task.
However, Olsen’s plan might be put on hold for quite some time. After all, the star has a slew of upcoming films and series that she will have to spend time promoting.
Elizabeth Olsen’s upcoming projects for 2024-2025
WandaVision may have come to an end in 2021, but Elizabeth Olsen’s streak with Marvel still seems to be going rather strong. With rumors about the actress possibly joining Vision Quest, another MCU spin-off focusing on Paul Bettany’s Vision, and various fan theories, there is a chance that she might not have a lot of free time on her hands.
Although it is only a rumor for now, Olsen does have a lot of projects up in the air at the moment. Recently, the 35-year-old has been promoting her upcoming film with Carrie Coon and Natasha Lyonne, His Three Daughters. Apart from that, she is set to release another film, The Assessment, at the Toronto Film Festival tomorrow, and also work on the upcoming MCU films, Avengers: The Kang Dynasty and Avengers: Secret Wars.
Olsen’s list doesn’t end there. In fact, the actress even has some other films that she is set to be working on like The Age of Love, Eternity, and Love Child. However, there has been no confirmation or release date for the three films as of yet. With so many projects lined up, it’s no surprise that Olsen may have her hands full. However, there is no doubt that the star will find a way to make her bucket list wish come true.
