LENNON MILLER is one of Scottish football’s brightest prospects.
Given his chance by Motherwell, the teen has revelled in the limelight and even captained his club in the Premier Sports Cup semi-final at Hampden last weekend.
Even bigger things are predicted for the level-headed midfielder, 18, whose dad Lee was also a pro for Aberdeen, Dundee United, Hearts and Kilmarnock.
The Well lead the way when it comes to giving youth a chance in the top flight, and Miller is the shining light in the Steelmen squad.
But for how long?
As his stock continues to rise, so too does interest and rumour in his future.

He’s currently on Scotland under-21 duty and out of contract at the end of next season.
Rangers and Celtic have inevitably been linked – with social media rumours this week touting the Hoops for a January move.
Clubs south of the border like Southampton are also believed to be monitoring the midfielder.
The Fir Park side cashed in on previous prodigies like James McFadden, Stephen Pearson and David Turnbull but they could make the same money many times over on Miller, according to one pundit.
Cammy Bell reckons Miller might NOT be an option for Scotland’s champions despite playing right on their doorstep.
They previously took Pearson and Turnbull along the M74 but speaking on Clyde 1 Superscoreboard Bell questioned the teen’s place in the Hoops’ buy-low, sell-high player trading model given what he reckons Motherwell could already command in the transfer market.
Prompted by a caller citing those social media rumours, Bell replied: “I get his question but I have one of my own.
“He started talking about £3 million but I don’t think Motherwell would be happy with that.
“Even the four or five he went to [mention].
“I think Celtic could absolutely afford him for sure but [the caller] talks about their business model. Does Lennon Miller fit into that?
“I genuinely think Motherwell could potentially get £7m or £8m for him. I really do.
“European teams will be looking at him – his age, the numbers he’s producing for – no disrespect – a Motherwell team.
“We’ve had a number of players move on from Scottish clubs to big clubs in Europe – so there is that interest in Scottish football at the moment.
“I think Celtic would have real competition on their hands trying to get him – and I think it would be a really good move for Celtic because he’s a top, top player and will become a better player.
“So I genuinely think he’s a £6m or £7m player – maybe not quite £8m.
“But does that fit into Celtic’s business model and do they think they can sell him on for £20m in three or four years?”
Fellow panellist Gordon Dalziel added: “I thought Brendan Rodgers was right when he said [talking about Matt O’Riley‘s valuation in the summer] it’s the player, not the club or league and everything like that.
“If Lennon Miller keeps going the way he is he’s going to be a top, top player – we know that.
“But if he fits in with Celtic want to do long-term I think the scenario is quite easy – come in, buy him and loan him back to Motherwell.
“He’s going to become an international and he’s just going to get stronger and stronger – at his peak what’s he going to be worth?

“I’m not saying Celtic are interested in Lennon Miller – but if they were, I think it makes sense for them to come in to get him, Motherwell make out of it, send him back there and keep the lad playing football.”
