Tigerlily Taylor, who is currently 41, and Adnan Abdelfattah, almost half her age, sparked quite a buzz when they met on Instagram just four months before Tigerlily jetted off to Amman to marry him on the show. Despite some viewers’ concerns about the groom being a red flag, Taylor has recently shared something interesting!
After the latest episode of 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days aired, where the two legally wed, she engaged with her Instagram followers through a Q&A session.
Although the grand reception is still to be seen in Season 7, she offered a sneak peek via an Instagram Reel, of their wedding. When a follower questioned whether she footed the bill for the wedding, Tigerlily Taylor set the record straight, saying she “didn’t pay a dime.” As in Abdelfattah’s culture, it’s customary for the groom to handle all wedding expenses.
Although he followed through with the wedding expenses as part of a cultural ritual rather than out of his own will, it was still a sweet thing to follow through. While it’s possible that he may come from a background of generational wealth and isn’t financially independent, the Before the 90 Days star still chose not to address the fan’s comment labeling him as “poor.” There’s still some uncertainty about their future finances, especially since she didn’t sign a prenup.
