The large amounts of precipitation that are playing tricks on Central Europe are proving to be a blessing for the small Austrian ski resort of Hochkeil am Hochkönig. There is now so much snow that the slopes are prepared and the lifts will be running for the first time this early in the season today. It is unique in September.
