AUSTINTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – Austintown Fitch Senior basketball star Marcel Finkley signed his National Letter of Intent Wednesday to continue his athletic and academic careers at Pitt-Johnstown.

Finkley is a four-year varsity basketball player for the Falcons.
“A lot of relief just came off my shoulders,” said Finkley. “I’m very happy and I made my mom very proud.”
Finkley will join the Mountain Cats who are a Division II school and a member of the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference.
“I just want to tell the youth and anybody else that wants to get to this level, keep working and you got to believe in yourself,” said Finkley. “Put your head down and grind.”
In the 2023 season, the Mountain Cats had an overall record of (6-22) and (4-18) in conference.
Fitch’s opening game of the 2024 season is at Struthers Nov. 29 at 7 p.m.
