A Florence man died Tuesday afternoon in a two-vehicle crash in Colbert County.
Senior Trooper Cody Farrar with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA) said the incident happened at about 2:10 p.m. on Alabama 20 near Gargis Lane, about three miles east of Muscle Shoals.
Jerry D. Richardson, 76, was driving a 2021 Chevrolet Equinox when it was struck by a 2016 Ford F-350, driven by Jason H. Holcomb, 48, of Haleyville.
Richardson was pronounced dead at the scene.
Troopers with ALEA’s Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.
