Football High Live: Updates, scores from Week 5 of the high school season

The national high school spotlight returns to Alabama tonight.

Undefeated Parker hosts one of the nation’s top quarterback prospects, Julian Lewis of Carrollton, Ga., tonight on ESPN2. Kickoff is schedule for 7 p.m.

That’s just one of a few key games across the state tonight including Enterprise at Central-Phenix City, Arab at Guntersville, Oxford at Mountain Brook, Baker at Daphne and Theodore at St. Paul’s.

Chelsea looking to stay undefeated. Hornets lead Calera 21-7 much to the excitement of former Chelsea letterwinner Randy Kennedy.

Speaking of Kennedy, he is covering Theodore at St. Paul’s and the Saints now lead 14-0 with 4:48 left in the second quarter. Bobcats have already lost 2 region games. This was almost a must win.

Central-Phenix City cuts the Enterprise lead to 14-13 on Andrew Alford’s 6-yard TD pass. Less than a minute left in the half.

T.R. Miller leads Hillcrest-Evergreen 12-7.
