LAUDERDALE COUNTY, Ala. (WHNT) — The Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Office said that multiple people were arrested after a search warrant was carried out at a home on Wednesday.
On Wednesday, agents with the Lauderdale County Drug Task Force executed a search warrant at a home at along Highway 20 in Waterloo.
LCSO said that the search warrant was obtained due to drug dealing activities by someone living at the home.
According to LCSO, the Florence/Lauderdale Special Operations Team found multiple people inside of the home.
Upon searching the home, agents found over two pounds of methamphetamine, crack cocaine, marijuana, synthetic marijuana (spice), and drug paraphernalia.
Deputies told News 19 that the street value of the methamphetamine along with the other drugs found is valued at $10,000.
The following individuals were arrested and charged:
-Dawn Marie Ford 64, Florence
- Trafficking in Methamphetamine (ICE)
- Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
-Brittney Lashay Miller 34, Florence
- Obstructing Justice Using a False Name
- Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
-Joshua Randell Keeton 36, Florence
- Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
-Bridgett Arlene Thompson 64, Florence
- Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance (3 counts)
- Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
The Florence Police Department, Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Office, Florence/Lauderdale Special Operations Team and the Lauderdale County District Attorney’s Office all assisted the Lauderdale County Drug Task Force during the investigation.
