In thirty cities in France, thousands of women and men took to the streets today to show their support for Gisèle Pelicot, the 72-year-old woman who was drugged by her husband for years and raped by dozens of men. Pelicot has quickly become a national symbol in the fight against sexual abuse. In our country, too, some 250 demonstrators showed their support for Pelicot.
