As of today, cigarettes and electronic cigarettes, with the exception of seven smoking areas, are banned in the 75-hectare Walloon zoo Pairi Daiza. The park announced this in a press release. A Belgian law banning smoking in all amusement and zoo parks will come into effect on 31 December 2024, but Pairi Daiza did not want to wait for that law.
