In the much-discussed border controls that Germany has reintroduced to combat illegal immigration, authorities at the western border have already caught 182 people entering Germany without the right to do so in four days. The newspaper ‘Welt am Sonntag’ reports that from Monday to Thursday, a hundred illegal immigrants were immediately sent back along the borders with the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg and France.
