God Usopp Will Defeat Loki Not Luffy- Eiichiro Oda Will Give a Well Deserved Powerup to the Weakest Straw Hat, Here’s Why

The supposed evil character of the Elbaph arc in One Piece, Loki the accursed prince, has created chaos among the fans. Fans are confused about whether or not he is the antagonist of the second phase of the finale saga, and if he is, who is going to face him. Loki is not like any other villain, as he has many parallels with Luffy’s character as the Sun God Nika.

As mentioned by the other giants, Loki’s powers far exceed those of any other giant, as he managed to kill his own father, King Harald, and steal the legendary Devil Fruit that is passed through the royal line of Elbaph. As of now, there is no confirmation as to who will face Loki and take him down to liberate Elbaph.

While many fans consider Luffy the ideal choice for the task at hand, a One Piece theory suggests that the perfect character to defeat Loki and earn the status of a legendary warrior in Elbaph would be Usopp, the sniper of the Straw Hat Pirates.

Usopp Might Be The One To Defeat Loki

According to a theory posted by @GrandLineReview on YouTube, Usopp’s character development can only take place in Elbaph if he takes down someone as strong as Loki. While Loki is much stronger than Usopp, the only way for him to earn the status of a warrior in a place like Elbaph would be to take down their biggest problem.

Also, Usopp taking down Loki makes sense in a weird way. This is because he is the weakest character in Elbaph. Even the normal giants are probably stronger than him, and this should give him the motivation he needs to become strong. Therefore, it would make sense for the weakest human to defeat the strongest human in Elbaph, and it would also make for a great One Piece plot.

However, it all depends on whether Loki is truly evil or he is being framed with the accusations. If the theory holds any ground, Usopp’s character development would seriously depend on how Loki is portrayed in the upcoming One Piece narrative.

Usopp’s Character Seriously Needs Major Development

Even though the chances of the above-mentioned theory being true are quite slim, it doesn’t change the fact that Usopp’s character seriously needs some major development in One Piece. He is a member of a Yonko crew, but his current strength is nowhere near their legendary status in the pirate world. He is the weakest Straw Hat member, despite being one of the first recruits.

Ever since the time skip, he has not had any major character development in One Piece. The last major Usopp power-up that fans saw was during the Dressrosa arc when Usopp earned the status of God. Thus, he is lagging behind in terms of strength and character development, and Eiichiro Oda seriously needs to do something about it.

Usopp has had a connection with Elbaph since the beginning of One Piece. Plus, his dream of becoming the Great Warrior of the Sea also holds parallels with the Giants of Elbaph. Therefore, it would make sense for Usopp to get a power-up and some character development in the second arc of the finale saga in One Piece.

One Piece is available to watch on Crunchyroll.
