Goku’s Biggest Blunder Sets Up Vegeta’s Ultimate Clash With This Dragon Ball Villain Which Would Leave Kakarot’s War with Jiren in the Dust

Dragon Ball is arguably the most popular franchise in the community, captivating generations of kids with the iconic Goku and Vegeta rivalry. Not to forget, Goku’s SSJ1 transformation is still hailed as one of the most legendary moments in anime history.

Akira Toriyama introduced Vegeta, who continually pushed his limits to uphold his Saiyan pride and catch up to Goku. Sadly, the fan-favorite Saiyan wasn’t able to surpass Kakarot in the famous DBZ series; however, Dragon Ball Super did feature many iconic moments that left many Vegeta fans satisfied. By the end of DBS, Goku transcended beyond the reach of mortals, with his Ultra Instinct transformation against Jiren.

While Goku’s UI transformation broke several records online, some fans were left concerned about Vegeta’s future character development. Interestingly, manga readers witnessed Vegeta surpassing Kakarot, resulting in his new transformation, Ultra Ego. Vegeta’s Ultra Ego transformation has yet to make its animation debut; however, Toei Animation seems to have set the stage for it against an iconic villain with DBS epilogue.

Throughout the series, the legendary mangaka introduced many great antagonists that left a long-lasting impression on the audience. Akira Toriyama introduced Frieza as the ultimate villain in the DB series. Frieza was responsible for the enslavement and subsequent extinction of the entire Saiyan race. Moreover, he ruthlessly destroyed entire planets to expand his empire, showcasing the depths of his wickedness.

At the end of DBS, fans were left shocked after Beerus resurrected Frieza, leaving many to question the God of Destruction’s judgment. Although Vegeta did manage to overpower Golden Frieza back in DBS, he failed to emerge victorious in their showdown.

With Vegeta’s Ultra Ego and Black Frieza transformation, Toei Animation has created a perfect stage for our fan-favorite Saiyan to finally surpass Goku. Back in the DB: Broly movie, Whis asked Vegeta about his purpose to grow stronger. The Saiyan Prince revealed his motivation to seek strength is to annihilate Frieza. He also blamed Kakarot for letting the most evil being in the universe, Frieza, be resurrected with Beerus’ approval.

Vegeta is regarded as the strongest Saiyan after Goku, whose hard work and determination to become the strongest have captivated many fans with the series.

Indeed, Vegeta’s revenge on Frieza will draw back many fans, eager to witness the highly anticipated clash between the two iconic characters. The clash between Vegeta and Frieza is destined to break several records and overshadow Goku-Jiren’s legendary battle.

How Frieza’s Menace Faded in Dragon Ball Super

Frieza’s evil personality was the key factor behind his immense popularity in the community. Although Frieza continued planning evil schemes to dominate the entire universe, his return to the Tournament of Power arc left fans a bit disappointed.

Despite playing a pivotal role in taking down Jiren and securing Universe 7’s victory in the Tournament of Power, Frieza failed to win the crowd’s love. Sadly, reintroducing the iconic villain after over 20 years has set some challenges and failed to attract fans’ attention to Frieza’s character.

One reason DBS struggled was its lack of compelling villains; thus, reviving Frieza twice became a crucial move to sustain fans’ interest in the series; however, his return didn’t meet fans’ high expectations. However, Toei Animation can shift the fans’ opinion if they decide to animate the much-awaited clash between Black Frieza and Vegeta’s Ultra Ego.

Dragon Ball is available for streaming on Crunchyroll.
