Grammy-winning R&B singer John Legend bringing ‘songs and stories’ to stage: Get tickets

Twelve-time Grammy winner John Legend is bringing a special solo performance to Huntsville’s Orion Amphitheatre.

The Amphitheatre website says the event will “feature songs and stories.”

“Experience intimate re-imaginings of his greatest hits (‘All of Me,’ ‘Ordinary People,’ ‘Tonight’), unexpected stories from Legend’s life and career, and selections from his most recent release.”

Legend will be at the Orion on Oct. 12. At the time of this writing, tickets were available on secondary markets for $63 from StubHub | $68 from Vivid Seats | $86 from Ticketmaster | $108 from EventTicketsCenter. Tickets are also available from the Orion’s ticket partner.

Legend’s latest album, My Favorite Dream, was released this year. Legend is multi-talented working as a singer, songwriter, pianist, record producer and actor. He also won an Oscar for the song “Glory.”

He started career working for other musicians, including playing piano on Lauryn Hill’s “Everything is Everything” and singing back-up vocals on Jay-Z’s “Encore” and Alicia Keys’ “You Don’t Know My Name.”

He also acts and produces. He played Keith in “La La Land” and was a producer for films like “A Crime on the Bayou” and “Jingle Jangle: A Christmas Journey.”
