Hovering and jumping around in Sony’s latest platformer, Astro Bot is a ton of fun. However, despite the game’s happy-go-lucky nature, getting collectibles is serious business.
It is possible that one must be struggling with finding all the Great Master challenge collectible locations as the level is difficult enough as is. If so, however, this guide will increase one’s chances of getting that platinum trophy.
Astro Bot: How to Get to the Great Master Challenge Collectible Locations
One can wander around various levels with the adorable PlayStation mascot’s Dualsense-shaped spaceship. Readers should check the Astro Bot guides available on the site to ensure they are not lagging in their quest for platinum.
Something to note is that, to get to the Great Master Challenge level one needs to get their hands on all of the puzzle pieces and bots available in the game. Meaning, they need to rendezvous with all 300 Bots and 120 puzzle pieces sprinkled across the various levels.
This is a natural progression as the Great Master Challenge is the game’s most challenging level. Afterward, the player has to return to their spaceship and face the giant PlayStation.
As seen above, there will be an exclamation mark guiding the player. Move towards it and you will soon encounter a golden Astro Bot statue (as shown in the completed puzzle).
Move towards it and press the triangle button when you’re prompted to summon all of the 300 bots you have gathered thus far. This will take some time but you will see all of your adorable buddies forming a ladder for you. Climb along using the ramp, which comes out from the statue’s pedestal.
Keep climbing and you will see the sky in the backdrop change colors as you venture close to a half-moon-shaped structure. Keep climbing until you reach the top.
Astro Bot: Great Master Challenge Collectible Locations Revealed
As soon as you reach the top you will see the iconic PlayStation symbols on a square structure. The structure will allow your entry as you move closer to it. Keep moving and you will finally get to a ledge.
Now is when the fun begins as you will have to make your way using platforming skills that you used to beat levels and defeat bosses
Don’t fall and most importantly, evade the effect radius of the bells that try to block your way. Also, you will encounter a land mine-like object, simply hover over it and it will disintegrate.
After some fun platforming, you will finally make your way to a disc-shaped glass floor. Move quickly and avoid falling off as it shatters. A jump board will propel you upward.
Reach the top of the structure by going through all the disc-shaped glass floors and evading all your foes. As you reach the top, the familiar four-button layout will greet you.
As you make your way across the floating buttons, you will reach a platform with a floor made of ice. Keep true on your path and you will soon reach a wooden platform that will look a lot less treacherous than the path you have taken thus far.
Finally, you will reach the final collectible, Chop Chop Master Onion – Lyrical Master, and strike off the last achievement of the game. Congratulations, this marks the end of your journey. Continue on your path to reach the Crash Site where 301 bots await your arrival.
