
Police are investigating a non-fatal shooting in Hartford on Thursday night.
Officers responded to the 100 block of Lawrence Street at about 10:55 p.m. after receiving a ShotSpotter notification, according to the Hartford Police Department.
A man in his 50s suffering from a gunshot wound was located while police were canvassing the area and was taken to an area hospital, police said. His injury was not life-threatening.
The Hartford police Major Crimes and Crime Scene divisions responded and assumed the investigation.
“The investigation remains active and ongoing,” Hartford police Lt. Aaron Boisvert said in a statement.
