A POPULAR Scots music festival is returning for a second year.
The festival was held for the first time earlier this year.
And after a series of rave reviews it’s been announced it will return next summer.
Following a successful first outing, the headline acts for 2025 have also been revealed.
Heartland Festival will return to Pitlochry Recreation Ground in Perthshire on Saturday June 28 Sunday June 29 next year.
With just over seven months to go, organisers have released the full list of acts set to hit the stage, including a huge headline performance.

Skerryvore will headline the Saturday show, making an appearance at the festival for the second year running.
Nathan Evans, singer of the hit sea shanty, Wellerman, will headline the event on Sunday 29 June, backed up by popular Scots duo Saint Phnx.
In a Heartlands debut this year, it was Dundee legends The View and Fife’s ‘singing barber’ Cammy Barnes who took to the stage to headline the event.
The full lineup for the event on Saturday 28 June includes Daytime TV, The Eves, The Tumbling Souls, Forget The Future, and David Delinquent and The I.O.Us
Sunday will feature the main headline performance from Nathan Evans backed up by Saint Phnx, alongside appearances from Bow Anderson, Ben Walker, Roisin McCarney, Torridon, Copper Lungs.
Tickets are already on sale for the event on the Heartland website.
The news comes as another music festival was axed in a busy Scots city for 2025.
The much-loved bash came to the city earlier this summer, but organisers have revealed that it won’t be coming back in the new year.
Summer Sessions has been popular with music fans since it first launched in Glasgow in 2013.
The festival then launched in Edinburgh in 2018, in Dundee back in 2022 and then in Stirling for the first time this year.
But after a successful summer of live music, organisers have revealed that it will not be returning to Stirling next year.
A Summer Sessions spokesperson said: “The Stirling Summer Sessions were incredible and brought a wide, diverse audience to Stirling to see some amazing artists.
“Unfortunately we will not be doing the event next summer but would hope to be back in 2026.”
