HEARTS are in talks over a stunning deal worth up to £10m which could ‘transform’ how the club recruits players, according to a report.
Brighton and Hove Albion owner Tony Bloom could introduce his Starlizard sports analysis company to Tynecastle and in return, take a minority stake in the Jambos, the Edinburgh Evening News says.
Discussions over the stunning deal, which could replicate Brighton’s profit-making transfer strategy on a reduced scale, are ongoing.
Due to the Hearts‘ ownership structure, Bloom would also need to get the greenlight from supporters and the Foundation of Hearts.
But the analysis programme and strategy could be in place and applied ahead of the January transfer window if initial discussions reach a successful conclusion.
Brighton have signed the likes of Alexis Mac Allister and Moises Caicedo as lesser lights from South America and given them the platform of the Premier League to merit almost £200m in sales and massive profits.
Starlizard deals in data and predictions ‘through a combination of innovation and critical thought’.
